Swinging or Cheating

Cheating in marriages is strictly considered as unacceptable. You have committed yourself to your spouse and to marriage as an institution, and cheating will ruin the very foundation of your marriage itself. So what acts are considered as cheating? The basic form of cheating is when you have relationships, whether sexual or not, with persons other than your spouse. There are a lot of opportunities for cheating to be initiated, such as at work or even home, and a lot of married couples are forced to drive their marriage to an end because one of them is cheating. Some consider having emotional feelings towards other people from the opposite sex as a soft form of cheating. If you are enjoying phone calls or exchanging text messages with a person from the opposite sex, you may be seen as cheating by your spouse. There is a strong and firm red line when it comes to describing cheating: your spouse does not know or is not aware of your acts. It is only natural that you try to hide other relationships from your spouse because, subconsciously, you know that you are cheating from him or her.

So, does swinging equals cheating? Definitely not. Swinging is simply a form of recreational sex with other couples or individuals, and it is not considered to be a form of cheating because all parties involved must approve. In fact, both you and your spouse must feel fully comfortable with swinging and experiences produced by it before you can actually engage the lifestyle. Both parties know exactly what they are doing and they mutually gain pleasures from the experience. In most cases, swinging can even strengthen relationships and marriages. It is simply because swinging requires a huge amount of trust and love for each other for it to be enjoyable.
